It was written to help ease the process and includes information on site preparation, what is and is not included which each unit, and all the details you ever needed to know to plan your SunPods installation.

Some useful excepts:

"Each standard SunPods PV power system is designed to be a modular single string unit to
simplify PV system array design and to simplify multiple unit interconnectivity with the
inverter(s) and balance of system components. PV module watt size is used to design for single
SunPods unit string sizing to match and balance array inverter(s) requirements for power output
based on project information provided to SunPods by the Contractor or System Designer."

And:

"At the factory, SunPods pre-wires the 12 installed PV modules on each SunPods power unit into
a single series string. Each individual SunPods single-string wiring system is delivered with two
standard power cable connectors (Tyco + and -) ready connect with the balance of system
components. Contractor connects contractor furnished NEC rated and sized cables to the
SunPods unit paired cable connectors to the fuse box, combiner box or inverter. Contractor can
utilize the SunPod frame to carry the cable/conduit across multiple SunPods units to fuse box,
junction box and inverters to reduce trenching…"
